What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Acceptance & Contract


We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the price or our ability to supply any particular item.

All prices shown on www.talardthai.com are only apply to any order purchase through online store and to be seen as guide prices, and do not constitute an offer to sell. Formal formation of a contract and acceptance of your order only occurs once we dispatch your ordered goods from our store. Until we formally accept your order, placement of an order will constitute an offer to purchase.

Occasionally our suppliers may increase their prices unexpectedly, and this is often something we become aware of only upon ordering stock from them. In the event that this occurs, or in the event of a pricing error howsoever caused, we will check with you to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price. All prices include VAT where applicable.


If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you. You can also select to have Substituted item or the item removed from your order if you do not wish to accept an alternative product.

In cases where the replacement item is of differing value, you will be charged the lesser of the two prices. If it is impossible to substitute an item or items, we will remove the item(s) from the order and deduct the value from the total order cost accordingly.

Although we make the utmost effort to ensure complete accuracy when assembling your order, mistakes do occasionally happen. Should we mistakenly dispatch products which are completely different to those ordered, we will either offer a partial refund on the item(s) or, should that be unacceptable, will ask you to return the item(s) to us by the most economical method and, upon receipt in a resaleable condition, will make a full refund of both the original purchase price and the return postage cost to your payment card. We make no guarantee that we will be able to resend the original item ordered, this decision will be taken by in each case by Management and will be final.

Please note that every product is subject to the actual products as shown in the descriptions, some products are changing the package from time to time due to different batches and the picture that is shown on the website might not be up to date.


Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form. We reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred should the incorrect address be entered on your order. Until dispatch of your order please contact us to amend or add any delivery details.

Courier delivery drivers are often not as familiar with local addresses. If a delivery address is difficult to locate, extra directions should be included in the Order notes box during Checkout. Confirmation of dispatch and tracking details will be sent by email or text message to the recipient of the parcel, and the recipient should monitor the tracking information supplied on the courier’s website and advise us if goods have still not been delivered 24 hours after the stated delivery time in the message. It is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that the parcel can be received or left in a safe location. Unsuccessful delivery may result in packages being taken to a local couriers’ depot for customer collection or delivery attempts. Extra charges can apply for requesting a delivery attempt or delivery on Saturday. Any Packages returned to us due to non-collection from depot or failed delivery attempts (for whatever reason) will be eligible for a refund of all non-perishable goods within. www.talardthai.com will not be liable for damage to, or deterioration of goods caused by unsuccessful delivery attempts by couriers. Packages returned to us by couriers after unsuccessful delivery attempts may each incur a Return Delivery Charge, plus any applicable surcharges.

Any date or time period for delivery should be considered for guidance only (as delivery times are not guaranteed by the couriers), and not forming any part of a guarantee. Although we work with the couriers to ensure that deliveries are made on time, events beyond our control can occasionally mean that goods take an extra working day to arrive. Please bear this in mind when ordering fresh or frozen goods as, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the quality of these items when dispatched to non-UK Mainland (including many Scottish Highland) addresses. Talard Thai Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or inconvenience caused as a result of delays in deliveries by us or our suppliers and are unable to refund delivery charges in cases of late/delayed delivery. Orders cancelled or deliveries refused due to late/delayed delivery will be treated as described in the Cancellation/Returns paragraphs below.

We generally dispatch ready to ship orders within 1 – 3 working days of receipt. If, for any reason, there will be a delay of more than 3 working days in the dispatch of your order, we will contact you by email to advise you of the reason for the delay and the expected day of dispatch.

We must receive orders by 1pm to have next day delivery. All orders received after this time will be allocated for delivery to the day after.
(Next Working Day scheduled delivery refers to delivery on the day after dispatch of your goods, and not the day after the placing of your order.)
*Please note that delivery to some Scottish Highland and island areas often takes a minimum of two working days.

Frozen products dispatched to Mainland UK destinations may be partly or fully thawed upon delivery next working day, particularly if a package contains a small quantity of frozen items. It is recommended that such products are consumed within 24 hours and not refrozen.

Cancellation & Returns

You have the right to cancel your order with us within 24 hours after your order has been placed and before we dispatch your order. Please note that standard cancellation conditions will apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, a refund of the purchase price of non-perishable goods will be made to the original payment within 7-14 days.

In such circumstances we will accept any returned products provided they are in a re-saleable condition. You have the right to return your order or an item to us at any time during the period which commences on the day that we dispatch your goods and ends on the expiry of 14 days beginning on the day that products has been delivered. Please note that to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, still in the original packaging or the same condition that you received it. Please make sure that you contact us before returning/rejecting any item. Any item returned without our knowledge may not be refunded and may be subject to a Return Delivery Charge. Upon return of the goods to us, a refund of the purchase price of non-perishable goods will be made to the original payment, excluding the delivery charge if applicable, within 7-14 days. 

Please note that perishable (fresh or frozen) goods are not refundable in the event of order cancellation or returns.


If products are damaged or spoiled (In case of Fresh products), We have a procedure to accept possible claims. All possible claims need to be reported within 24-hours after delivered according to delivery note.

It’s important to provide us with full information about the possible claim. The following information about the possible claim need to be reported within 24 hours after delivered;

  1. Order number (invoice number)
  2. Minimum of three pictures per damaged item(s).
  3. Clear explanation of the issue.

For goods dispatched but not yet delivered, or for goods to be rejected at the time of delivery you will contact us by telephone or email at the address or number set out in the Contact Us section of this site, with details of your original order number. Refunds for goods returned in these circumstances will be subject to the cost of the Return Delivery Charge.

Goods already delivered may be returned to us us via your local Post Office or your own courier. Please note that the items remain your property until we have received them. You are therefore responsible for your goods while they are in transit to us. You are responsible for all return delivery charges. Upon receipt of non-perishable goods in a resalable condition.

Faulty/damaged non-perishable products which are to be returned must be returned before the refund can be issued. When the return arrives back at our office it will be assessed, should it be concluded that the products are faulty/unfit for consumption, the return delivery charge and purchase cost will be refunded.
